Our 5th live show in the 2023 Bear Family Concert Series, takes place on on Sat June 3rd! On this night Waking Bear will open with an hour long set and then welcome Kuinka to the stage. This is going to be such a fun and high-vibin night of musical medicine for the soul with Kuinka and Waking Bear!

For this private studio show seating is limited to 100 people, so please get tickets early if you plan to come. We won’t have tickets available at the door.

Sat, May 20th at Bear Cave Studios in Olympia — Waking Bear will open the night with 75-minutes of high-vibe, indie originals… followed by the  super fun and catchy melodies of the Smokey Brights!

This will be our second show in the 2023 Bear Cave Studio Series and we’re THRILLED to be sharing a new 90-minute set, mixing in new and old Waking Bear songs, and welcoming Space Whales and their mesmerizing musical psychedelia!!!! We’re going to have another fun show and look forward to seeing you there!

Bad years become seen as essential pieces of one’s journey, antagonists become seen as protagonists in waiting, and people find themselves seeing the good borne out of difficulty and feeling gratitude for life.

Stories & Songs by Waking Bear is a two-hour live stream performance filled with original songs and personal stories that will leave you feeling uplifted and filled with gratitude and joy for life. The stories and songs we will share during this set are deeply personal and centered around what we have learned from our own losses and struggles: that there are beautiful gifts and silver linings borne out of our suffering and misfortune. No matter what we face in life, there is a pathway for caring for hearts without falling into the abyss of pain, a pathway into gratitude and deep love.

We’re deeply honored to share these stories and songs with you.

2020 has been incredibly painful for so many of us. The grief and loss has been huge. Sure, most of us are taking precautions, adulting like crazy and coping the best we can with the political, social, environmental and economic unrest.
